ALJOMAIH, one of the pioneering trading companies in the kingdom, was established in early (1936) by the brothers Abdulaziz and Mohammad Abdullah Aljomaih, at Shaqra town, 200 km. from Riyadh. Within 4 years of its modest beginnings, the company had progressed to such a degree that it moved, its head office to Riyadh. It was an immediate success and soon branches were opened in several cities including Jeddah, Dammam, Makkah al-Mukarramah, Gassim and Shaqra in addition to the head office in Riyadh, The Company has kept pace with the commercial and industrial boom experienced by the kingdom. Since the early nineteen-fifties the Company has come to occupy a prominent automobile, tires, lubricants, soft drinks, heavy equipment, agriculture machine, foodstuffs, and in the representation of a number of international companies. The plant, a carbon dioxide plant and a lubricants blending plant, Additionally, ALJOMAIH has partnerships in several industrial and investment companies. ALJOMAIH continues to grow and to play a vital role in the economic development of the kingdom.
